Chaunté Gilmore is a Director of Rehabilitation and community leader rooted in NW Oklahoma City, with deep ties to Bethany and Warr Acres. She’s not new to this work. She’s built her career in it.
Every day, she works directly with patients and families, helping people recover, hold onto their independence, and navigate systems that are often confusing, under-resourced, and stacked against them. She’s seen what happens when those systems fail and who gets left behind.
And she knows the issues don’t stop at healthcare. What she’s seen in her patients shows up everywhere, in housing, education, jobs, and access to opportunity. For Chaunté, this work has never been about one issue. It’s about how all of it connects and how it impacts real people trying to live their lives.
She’s not removed from the work. Her perspective is built through real experiences, real people, and the communities she serves every day.
